Bhulleh Shah, a sufi sant was in his room meditatiing. some of his muslim followers, sitting out side the mosque were eating carrorts during roza.the other muslim asked them why they are eating during roja if they are really muslim and they started beating them. They even went to see Bulleh Shah in his room. He was in meditation and did not even notice the mob of angry furious muslims. the muslim mob asked Bulleh Shah "are you muslim?" Bhulleh Shah raised his hand in the air, moving his hand in negagtion(not knowing). muslim mod thought he is mad and left the place.
after meditation was over, his muslim followers asked him what did he answer when asked if he was a muslim. he answered that he did not know who he was as he was in deep meditation. you were beaten up because you said that your were muslim. you tagged yourself as muslim and you were beaten up, i did not tag myself as a muslim and therefore, i was saved.
i am i, the same sat-chit-anand. i am nothing else. i am one with my guru dev and nothing else.
