 | Many attempt to look past the endless stream of thoughts hoping to be aware of awareness and nothing else. Yet, the assumption of there being anything other than awareness is itself a thought. Even a thought as subtle as that is only being seen by that which is aware. Can anything be experienced without being aware of it? How could it? There are no experiences outside of being aware. No matter how it is perceived or labeled, there is no other experience, but awareness experiencing itself in every possible way. Do not concern yourself with trying to be aware of awareness because awareness is all there is. You can't fail at it, nor can you ever get it right. Why? Because it is the very nature of looking – no matter what calls out for attention. Stop and notice how you are the one who is looking. End the search by realizing that you are the one who is aware. Let go of every idea imagined about you, me, or anything else and simply look at life openly. Perhaps, you'll see how attention and awareness are one in the same. Wherever attention is placed, awareness meets itself. |
