On the spiritual path, one tries to do just about anything to earn their way to freedom. All the while, overlooking how free freedom is. If it requires any degree of earning, then it has a cost. If it has a cost, it's not free. Therefore, just see through the need to earn anything at all, and the nature of freedom freely reveals itself–at the cost of nothing, and at the expense of no one at all.
